How to Download Your Trips Data from Polarsteps

To extract trip.json files from your Polarsteps trips, you need to request to download all of your personal data for your Polarsteps account. Follow these steps:

Using the Polarsteps Website

1. Go to Polarsteps.com and log into your account
2. In the navigation on the top of the website, click on profile picture with
3. Click on "Profile settings"
4. Click on "Account" in the left menu
5. Find section "Download my data"
6. Request data download by clicking on "download a copy of your data." link.

Using the Polarsteps Mobile App

1. Open the Polarsteps app on your smartphone
2. Click on settings button (ozubene kolo)
3. Click on "Account" item
4. In the "Privacy" section, click on "Download my data" button

How to get trip.json files

1. After few minutes, you will receive e-mail from Polarsteps with link to download your data.
2. Download the .zip file and extract it
3. Navigate to folder "trip"
4. Inside you see folders named as your trips you recorded in the past
5. Open folder with trip you want to get texts from
6. In the folder, you will find "trip.json" file
7. That is the file you are looking for. Upload it to this tool

Note:You can upload multiple trip.json files at the same time.
